We have got news reaching us that some of our IGP members have gone way out of line and have hired several private recovery companies to steal money from us claiming that they have invested bitcoin with us and they got scammed because they did not receive their virtual cards and they are not getting the right help from support.This clearly has been an issue which we are working on and will resolve in no time, as there as been delays in delivery of some cards that was dispatched. We are all affected by the ongoing pandemic that has limited our efficiency processing and delivering some cards. Nevertheless, we have setup a team working solely to hasten distribution of these cards and we see improvements in ETA of the cards to our customers. Now, most of the few once that hired these recovery companies to come after us, do not have an account with us and have claimed funds that belongs to others and we are urging members to desist from such acts.

After a thorough investigation was carried out, we discovered that some individuals impersonating members of IGP and charging back deposits from IGP wallets, reached out for the services of one company in particular by the name “DaTRek Recovery” unaware of this activity, they rendered their services out of good will to people that claimed to them they lost funds to IGP, which clearly is not true and they do not exist on our database.

We also had to reach out to Datrek Recovery, a prominent company frequently coming up in our searches, urging them to refrain from rendering their services until thorough verification of information of whoever they are dealing with and trying to help recover money for has been carried out.The process which involves them hacking servers, infiltrating database and downloading encrypted files that contains private wallet of millions of users without any authorisation which we find very inappropriate to begin with. We do not dispute the fact they are helping the masses and giving hope to people as they have the legal backing to render such services. This was resolved eventually and they have acknowledged this and hence will do a thorough verification of their customers before rending their service in the future. We also at IGP have tightened our security and we can assure that there will be no future occurrence of this.

We are simply urging IGP members to be a little more patient with us as we strive to deliver quality service despite the unfavourable economic conditions globally. Be rest assured every complaints getting to us will be resolved as quickly as possible as well.
